Permits are required in the Florida Building Code.  The following  activities require a building permit unless exempted in writing by the Building Official:

  • Erection
  • Construction
  • Alteration or repair of a building
  • Structure
  • Electrical
  • Gas
  • Mechanical or plumbing system.
