Project Summary
This project entails the installation of approximately 8,000 feet of 12 inch water main along the east side of Fort King Road, from Simons Road to Phelps Road. Additionally, multiple fire hydrants and other connections will be installed along the entire route with the ability to serve future residential growth.
This project will also connect two dead-end water mains allowing for improved water circulation and fire flow demands.
Current Project Status – As of March 2022
Preliminary design, permitting, surveying, and final design have been completed by the City’s consulting engineer, Jones Edmunds Inc. Engineering of Tampa, Florida.
Sealed bid has been awarded to Killebrew Inc. Construction will begin in April 2022 and will continue throughout the next few months.
Project Completion
Project completion goal is October 2022.
