2023 City of Zephyrhills Summer Recreation Information


The 2023 City of Zephyrhills Summer Recreation Program is a free, five-week, Monday through Thursday program offered to families that reside in the City of Zephyrhills municipal limits and/or attend a Zephyrhills area school.

The summer recreation program is open to students who've completed any of the K-5 grade levels during the 2022-2023 school year; a total of 120 students will be accepted into this year's program, split evenly across two registration groups: Group A (60 students total) and Group B (60 students total), respectively.

This year's program will begin Monday, June 5, 2023 and continue through Thursday, July 6, 2023. (No programming will be offered on Tuesday, July 4, 2023, due to the Independence Day Holiday.)

All children must be dropped off/picked up each camp day (Monday through Thursday) at R.B. Stewart Middle School (38505 Tenth Avenue, Zephyrhills, FL, 33542).

Drop-off period is between 7:30-8:00 a.m. each camp day. Pick-up period is between 11:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. each camp day.

(Caregivers must abide by these drop-off and pick-up windows. The City of Zephyrhills reserves the right to forfeit a child's spot in the program due to continual tardiness.)

Group A will have for the following activity schedule: Mondays (Bowling); Tuesdays (Art and/or Tennis); Wednesdays (YMCA/Swimming); Thursdays (Movies and/or Tennis).

Group B will have the following activity schedule: Mondays (Bowling); Tuesdays (YMCA/Swimming and/or Tennis)'; Wednesdays (Art); Thursdays (Movies and/or Tennis).

Summer camp waitlisting will also be available. Waitlisted children may be assigned to either Group A or Group B, depending on spacing needs over the course of the camp.
