W. Cliff McDuffie  Mr. McDuffie was born in Bainbridge, Georgia and raised in Tampa, Florida. He attended the Unv. of Tennessee and the Unv. of Tampa and graduated from the Institute for Organizational Management at the Unv. of Georgia. He was in the U.S. Army for three years assigned to the National Security Agency at Fort Meade, Maryland. Mr. McDuffie was an Assistant Vice President of Marketing for Exchange National Bank of Tampa prior to moving to the Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce . For over 20 years McDuffie served as the Chambers Director of the Better Business Dept, Dir. of Small Business, Personnel Director and Operations Manager. He managed a staff of 45 when he left in 1993. He was the Membership Sales Director for the Dunedin Chamber of Commerce and served as the Executive Director of the Zephyrhills Chamber of Commerce and retired in 2005.

The Mayor's community activities have included; International Director of Sertoma International for the Florida/Caribbean Region, President of the Personnel Association of Tampa, President of United Cerebral Palsy of Tampa, Secretary of Suncoast Girl Scout Council, Chairman of the Fla. Consumer Council, Vice Chair of the Hillsborough County Consumer Services Board, Chairman of Adult and Vocational Education Committee of Hillsborough, served on the Board of Directors for Hillsborough County Education Foundation and many more.

The Mayors activities in Pasco County have included: Leadership Pasco Alumnus, Pasco County Hazardous Mitigation Committee, Pasco County Health Assessment Committee, Pasco Millennium Committee, Board of Directors Visitors and Conventions Bureau, Board of Directors of Paint Your Heart Out Pasco, Board of Trustees First United Methodist Church of Zephyrhills, Board of Directors Main Street Zephyrhills, Zephyrhills City Planning Commission, Board of Directors Nature Coast Coalition, Tampa Bay Planning Council Cultural Task Force, Leadership Pasco Board of Directors. He is a member of Masonic Lodge 198 and a 32 Degree Mason.

Cliff married Joyce Hatfield in 2001. He has two boys living in Tampa, two granddaughters and one grandson.
