Artist rendering of the proposed new Zephyrhills Public Library
Exciting times ahead for the Zephyrhills Public Library as construction begins in March on the new facility. Designed by Harvard Jolly, Inc., the 8,463 square foot library will be a beautiful, stately brick building on 8th Street in the downtown area.
The library is being funded by Penny for Pasco monies and private donations.
The new library will have features that aren't available at the current library: a meeting room, two study rooms, separate children's and teen rooms, Wi-Fi and more than double the public access computers. See floor plan below.
Although the new library is being built next to the current library, we will be open our normal hours. Please excuse our dust while work is being done on our fabulous new library. Click here for photos of the construction.
Groundbreaking ceremony Friday, February 28, at 2:00 p.m.
