Total Valuation
$1,000 and less:     No fee, unless inspection required, in which case $45.00 fee for each inspection shall be charged.

$1,001-$50,000:      $45.00 for the first $1,000 plus $5 for each additional thousand or fraction thereof, to and including $50,000.

$50,001-$100,000:   $330 for the first $50,000 plus $5.00 for each additional thousand or fraction thereof, to and including                                                       $100,000.

$100,001-$500,000:  $530.00 for the first $100,000, plus $5.00 for each additional thousand or fraction thereof, to and including                                               $500,000.

$500,001 and up:     $1,730 for the first $500,000 plus $5.00 for each additional thousand or fraction thereof.


Plan Review Fee:     1/2 of Permit Fee + Transportation Impact Fee + Driveway $45 + Address $30 + building code surcharge                                                 fee 2.5% + 1% of construction value for non-residential projects (Public art Fee)


MOBILE HOME PERMIT FEES: The following shall be charged for mobile home installations:

(a) Mobile Home & Park Model Setup-per unit..................$65.00
(b) Electrical.......................................................................$45.00
(c) Plumbing.......................................................................$45.00
(d) Mechanical....................................................................$45.00

MISCELLANEOUS PERMIT FEES:
Demolition: $100.00
Moving Structure: $150.00
Outbuildings Nonhabitable: Per current ICC National Average
Portable Utility Buildings: 9 x 10 or less-minimum $45
Remodel Fee: As set out above for the type of occupancy.

REINSPECTION FEES: When extra inspection trips are necessary due to any one of the following reasons, a fee of $45.00 may be charged for each trip for each trade:
         a. Code violations
         b. Repairs or corrections not made prior to inspection
         c. Work not ready at time of inspection
         d. Permit not posted in a conspicuous place at job site
         e. Plans not at job site
         f.  Work not accessible
         g. Wrong address

 
RE-PERMITTING FEES:  Whenever a permit has expired, a repermitting fee of 1/2 the original permit fee shall be paid.

TIME EXTENSIONS:  One-90 day extension will be granted where no progress has been made due to hardship.  Per trade:                                                       $20.00**

CHANGE OF CONTRACTOR: $20.00 for each trade with letter from parties involved.

REFUNDS ON PERMITS:
           a. All applications for permit refunds shall be received within 3 months of permit issuance.
           b. Plans examination fees are not refundable.
           c. $45.00 of the permit fee shall be retained for administrative processing.

“AFTER-THE-FACT” PERMITS: Where construction has commenced prior to the issuance of required permits, the permit fee shall be double the normal fee.  Any subsequent “after-the-fact” permits issued to the same contractor within a 12 month period shall be triple the normal permit fee.

COMMERCIAL CHECK FEE: $75.00

HOME OCCUPATION APPLICATION FEE: $30.00
