Dental Insurance
We offer three dental plans to our employees.

Our Employee Assistance Program is available to all our employees. This program offers a wide variety of services for all our employees' needs.
Holiday Pay
We offer 10 paid holidays per year. Please see the attached document (click here) for more detailed information and dates.
Life Insurance
We provide life insurance to all our employees at no cost to them.
Medical Insurance
The City offers competitive health benefits. There are three comprehensive plans available through Florida Blue. Employees have both HMO and PPO options to choose from.
Sick Leave
We offer a considerable amount of sick time. Employees qualify for paid sick leave, which will begin accruing at the date of hire.
Student Loan Forgiveness
The City of Zephyrhills is a qualifying governmental agency for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF)!
Under the U.S. Department of Education’s PSLF program, your student loan balance may be forgiven after you have made 120 qualifying monthly payments while working full-time with a governmental agency. Visit https://studentaid.gov/pslf/ for more information.
Tuition Assistance
The City of Zephyrhills offers a tuition reimbursement program. This benefit is available to all full-time employees after one year of service.
Vacation Leave
We offer a generous amount of vacation time. Employees accrue paid vacation time starting the date they are hired.
Vision Insurance
We offer an affordable vision plan through VSP.
Voluntary Coverages

Retirement
The City of Zephyrhills is a participating entity in the Florida Retirement System (FRS). FRS offers employees the choice of choosing between an Investment or a Pension plan. The City contributes the majority of the required cost to each employees' retirement on a monthly basis.
